Pipe connection
★ For optimal results, follow these stringent procedures for pipe socket connections:
1. Ensure cleanliness by wiping the pipe and fitting sockets thoroughly before bonding for a flawless connection.
2. Accurately measure the socket depth and mark the pipe port to ensure precision in fitting.
3. Apply adhesive with care: start with the socket, then proceed to the pipe. Ensure an even and appropriate coating for a secure bond.
4. Align correctly, insert to the marked depth in one swift motion, and give a 1/4 turn for a snug fit.
5. Clean any excess adhesive from the socket to maintain a neat and effective seal.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand until the seal is fully cured, guaranteeing optimal performance.
★ Ensure safety when using adhesives by adhering to these guidelines:
1. Utilize adhesives and cleaners as needed, restricting access to operators only to maintain safety.
2. Maintain a flame-free environment at bonding sites, ensuring good ventilation to prevent hazards.
3. Avoid construction below -10ºC, and refrain from applying direct heat to adhesive points for safety.
4. Equip workers with gloves for protection. In case of eye contact, rinse with ample water and seek medical attention immediately.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Determine the saw pipe length meticulously, layer by layer, based on precise measurements and connected fitting dimensions. Use fine tooth saws, cutters, or pipe cutting machines for precise cuts. Ensure smooth, deformation-free edges, and prepare the socket area by filing a 15°-30° groove, typically over 3mm in length and 1/3 to 1/2 the pipe wall thickness. Clean the area of debris post-grooving for a clean finish.
Socket protection:
Post-connection, cleanse any extruded adhesive with cotton yarn or a dry cloth moistened with a detergent like acetone. Let the joint set undisturbed based on adhesive properties and weather conditions. Extend curing time appropriately during winter for optimal bonding.
