Pipe Connection
★ Follow these essential procedures for reliable pipe socket connections:
1. Ensure the pipe and fitting sockets are clean before the bonding process.
2. Accurately measure and mark the pipe port to match the socket depth.
3. Apply adhesive evenly, starting with the socket and then the pipe, ensuring a uniform coating.
4. Align and insert into the marked position with a one-time push, followed by a 1/4 turn rotation for secure attachment.
5. Remove any excess adhesive from the connection to maintain a clean finish.
6. Allow the bonded assembly to stand undisturbed until the joint is fully cured.
★ Adhere to the following safety guidelines when using adhesives:
1. Restrict adhesive and cleaning agent usage to authorized personnel only.
2. Ensure no open flames are present at the bonding site, and maintain adequate ventilation.
3. Avoid construction in temperatures below -10ºC and refrain from using fire to hasten adhesive curing.
4. Equip personnel with gloves and in case of contact with eyes, flush with ample water and seek immediate medical attention.
Installation Instructions
Saw Pipe and Groove:
Determine the pipe length meticulously per layer based on precise measurements and the connected fittings' dimensions. Choose fine tooth saws, cutters, or pipe cutting machines for precision cuts. Ensure the cross-section is flat and deformation-free. File the socket area into a 15°-30° groove with a medium board file, maintaining a groove length of at least 3mm and a thickness of 1/3-1/2 of the pipe wall. Clear any debris post-grooving.
Socket Protection:
After socket bonding, cleanse any extruded adhesive with a detergent-dipped cotton yarn or dry cloth. Allow the connection to cure in accordance with adhesive performance and climate conditions, extending curing time in winter for optimal results.
