Pipe connection
★ Ensure secure pipe socket connections by meticulously following this procedure:
1. Thoroughly clean the pipe socket and fitting socket before proceeding with bonding.
2. Accurately measure and mark the socket depth on the pipe's end.
3. Apply adhesive evenly, starting with the socket and then the pipe, ensuring a uniform coat.
4. Align properly, insert into the marked section, and rotate 1/4 turn for a firm grip.
5. Remove any excess adhesive from the socket to maintain a clean finish.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand until the connection is fully cured for maximum strength.
★ Safeguard adhesive use by adhering to these essential guidelines:
1. Only authorized personnel should handle adhesives and cleaning agents, ensuring controlled usage.
2. Maintain a flame-free environment and ensure good ventilation around bonding areas.
3. Avoid construction in temperatures below -10ºC and do not use fire to dry adhesive points.
4. Equip construction workers with gloves for protection. If adhesive contacts eyes, rinse immediately with water and seek medical treatment.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Determine the saw pipe length accurately by measuring each layer and considering the dimensions of all connected fittings. Use precision tools like fine-tooth saws and cutters. Ensure a flat, deformation-free cut. File the socket's edge into a 15°-30° groove, not less than 3mm in length and 1/3-1/2 of the pipe wall thickness. Clear debris after grooving for a perfect finish.
Socket protection:
Upon connecting the socket, clean excess adhesive with cotton yarn or dry cloth lightly soaked in detergent such as acetone. Allow the joint to cure in static conditions, adjusting time based on adhesive properties and weather. Extend curing time for winter projects for optimal results.
