Pipe Connection
★ Ensure a secure pipe socket connection by adhering to these meticulous steps:
1. Begin by thoroughly cleaning both the pipe socket and pipe fitting socket prior to bonding.
2. Precisely measure the socket depth and accurately mark the pipe port.
3. Apply adhesive meticulously—first to the socket, then to the pipe—ensuring even and appropriate coverage.
4. Align perfectly, insert to the marked depth in one go, and execute a 1/4 turn.
5. Remove any excess adhesive from the socket surface post-insertion.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand, ensuring full curing at the interface.
★ Adhere to these safety provisions when using adhesives:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents strictly as needed—non-operators must refrain from use.
2. Maintain an open flame-free environment at the bonding site, and ensure proper ventilation.
3. Avoid construction at temperatures below -10ºC and never use fire to hasten adhesive curing.
4. Construction personnel should wear protective gloves. In case of eye contact with adhesive, flush with ample water and seek immediate medical attention.
Installation Instructions
Saw Pipe and Groove:
Determine saw pipe length by measuring each connected fitting precisely. Use tools like a fine-tooth saw, cutter, or pipe cutting machine for clean cuts. Ensure no deformation at the section. File the socket part to be glued into a 15°-30° groove, with lengths of at least 3mm and a thickness of 1/3-1/2 of the pipe wall. Remove debris after grooving.
Socket Protection:
Post-connection, clean extruded adhesive with cotton yarn or a dry cloth moistened with detergent (e.g., acetone). Allow curing according to adhesive and climatic conditions, extending time during winter construction.
