Pipe connection
★ Adhere strictly to the following procedure for secure pipe socket connections, ensuring reliability and performance:
1. Before bonding, ensure the pipe socket and fitting are thoroughly cleaned for optimal adhesion.
2. Accurately measure socket depth, marking the pipe end for precision during installation.
3. Apply adhesive evenly, starting with the socket and proceeding to the pipe, ensuring uniform coverage.
4. Align and insert the pipe to the marked depth in one smooth motion, then rotate a quarter turn for secure bonding.
5. Clean any excess adhesive from the socket's edge to maintain a neat finish.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand until the adhesive has fully cured, ensuring maximum joint integrity.
★ Follow these safety guidelines for adhesive use to ensure a safe working environment:
1. Only operators should handle adhesives and cleaning agents, using them judiciously as needed.
2. Ensure no open flames are present at bonding sites, and maintain excellent ventilation to prevent hazards.
3. Avoid construction below -10ºC, and do not use fire to accelerate adhesive curing, safeguarding product integrity.
4. Workers should wear gloves for protection; in case of eye contact with adhesive, rinse thoroughly with water and seek medical assistance immediately.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Accurate saw pipe lengths are determined by measuring each layer and considering the dimensions of connected fittings. Use fine tooth saws, cutters, or pipe cutting machines to achieve clean cuts without deformation. File a 15°-30° groove into the socket end, ensuring a depth of at least 3mm and a thickness between one-third and one-half the wall thickness. Remove all debris after grooving for a clean finish.
Socket protection:
Post-connection, cleanse extruded adhesive with cotton yarn or a dry cloth moistened with acetone or similar, allowing the joint to cure statically as per adhesive performance and ambient conditions. Extend curing times during winter to ensure full set.
