Pipe connection
★ Ensure a secure pipe socket connection by meticulously following these essential steps:
1. Thoroughly clean the pipe and fitting sockets before proceeding with the bonding process.
2. Accurately measure the socket depth and clearly mark the pipe end accordingly.
3. Apply adhesive uniformly, starting with the socket and followed by the pipe end, ensuring a balanced coating.
4. Align precisely, insert seamlessly into the marked area, and execute a 1/4 turn for optimal fit.
5. Remove any excess adhesive from the socket to maintain a clean finish.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand until the joint is fully cured, ensuring a robust connection.
★ Adhering to these guidelines will ensure the safe use of adhesives:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents judiciously; restrict access to trained operators only.
2. Avoid open flames at bonding sites and ensure adequate ventilation is maintained.
3. Refrain from construction activities below -10ºC; do not apply fire to adhesive points.
4. Equip construction personnel with gloves, and if adhesive contacts eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical attention promptly.
Installation Instructions
Saw Pipe and Groove:
Determine pipe length meticulously based on precise measurements and fitting dimensions. Utilize fine-toothed saws, cutters, or pipe cutting machines for clean cuts without deformation. For optimal bonding, file the socket ends into a 15°-30° groove, ensuring it is 1/3-1/2 the pipe wall thickness, and clear debris post-groove.
Socket Protection:
After socket connection, cleanse any excess adhesive with a cotton cloth lightly moistened with a suitable detergent such as acetone. Allow to cure based on adhesive performance and weather conditions, extending curing time during winter.
