Pipe Connection
★ Ensure precise pipe socket connections by rigorously following the prescribed procedures:
1. Thoroughly clean the pipe socket and pipe fitting socket before applying adhesive to ensure a secure bond.
2. Accurately measure and mark the depth of the socket at the pipe port for precise alignment.
3. Apply adhesive evenly, first on the socket and then on the pipe, ensuring uniform coverage for a strong bond.
4. Carefully align the direction, insert it into the marked part in one swift motion, and rotate 1/4 turn to secure it.
5. Clean off any excess adhesive from the socket to maintain a tidy installation.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand undisturbed until the interface is fully cured, ensuring a solid connection.
★ Adhere to these safety guidelines for the secure use of adhesives:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents as needed, restricting use to trained operators only.
2. Maintain a flame-free environment at the bonding point and ensure proper ventilation for safety.
3. Avoid construction below -10ºC and never use fire to accelerate adhesive curing.
4. Provide construction personnel with gloves. In case of adhesive contact with eyes, flush with plenty of water and seek medical attention.
Installation Instructions
Saw Pipe and Groove:
Determine saw pipe lengths per layer based on precise measurements and connected pipe fitting dimensions. Employ fine-tooth saws, cutters, or pipe cutting machines for clean cuts without deformation. The socket section can be filed to a 15°-30° groove using a medium board file. Groove length should be no less than 3mm, with a thickness 1/3-1/2 of the pipe wall thickness. Remove debris post-grooving.
Socket Protection:
After socket connection, cleanse extruded adhesive with cotton yarn or cloth lightly soaked in detergent like acetone. Allow to stand until cured per adhesive performance and climate conditions. Extend curing time appropriately during winter construction.
