Pipe Connection
★ Adhere strictly to these procedures for socket connections to ensure optimal performance:
1. Thoroughly clean the pipe and fitting sockets before applying adhesive.
2. Measure the socket depth and mark the pipe end for precision.
3. Apply adhesive evenly, beginning with the socket, followed by the pipe end, ensuring a uniform coating.
4. Align properly, insert to the marked position in one motion, and rotate 1/4 turn for secure fitting.
5. Wipe away any excess adhesive from the socket after connection.
6. Allow the pipe to stand until the adhesive has fully cured, securing the joint.
★ Follow these guidelines for safe adhesive use:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents responsibly, restricting access to authorized personnel only.
2. Ensure the bonding area is free from open flames and well-ventilated.
3. Avoid construction below -10ºC and refrain from using fire to accelerate adhesive curing.
4. Equip construction personnel with gloves, and in case of eye contact with adhesive, rinse immediately with water and seek medical attention.
Installation Instructions
Saw Pipe and Groove:
Determine pipe length meticulously for each layer and connection. Use fine-tooth saws, cutters, or pipe-cutting machines for precision. Ensure clean, flat cuts and avoid section deformation. File the socket's glued section into a 15°-30° groove, at least 3mm long, with thickness between 1/3 to 1/2 of the pipe wall. Clean thoroughly post-grooving.
Socket Protection:
After socket connection, clean any extruded adhesive with cotton yarn or a dry cloth and detergent like acetone. Allow to cure based on adhesive properties and climate, extending time in winter for best results.
