Pipe connection
★ Ensure a secure pipe socket connection by adhering to the precise procedures outlined below:
1. Thoroughly clean the pipe socket and fitting socket prior to bonding for optimal results.
2. Accurately measure the socket depth and mark the pipe port accordingly.
3. Apply the adhesive uniformly, starting with the socket and then the fitting, ensuring an even coat.
4. Carefully align and insert into the marked part in one go, followed by a 1/4 turn rotation.
5. Clean any excess adhesive from the socket to maintain a neat appearance.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand until the interface is fully cured, ensuring a sturdy connection.
★ Adhere to the following safety guidelines for the safe use of adhesives:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents responsibly, restricting access to trained personnel only.
2. Ensure the bonding area is free from open flames and well-ventilated to prevent accidents.
3. Avoid construction at temperatures below -10ºC, and refrain from using fire to dry adhesive points.
4. Equip personnel with gloves, and in case of eye contact with adhesive, rinse immediately with water and seek medical assistance.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Determine saw pipe lengths based on precise measurements and connected fitting dimensions. Employ fine tooth saws, cutters, and pipe cutting machines for precise cuts, ensuring flat, deformation-free sections. Groove the socket area to a 15°-30° angle, maintaining a groove length of at least 3mm and a thickness between 1/3 - 1/2 of the pipe wall. Remove any debris post-grooving for a clean finish.
Socket protection:
After socket connection, carefully wipe away extruded adhesive using cotton yarn or a dry cloth with detergent like acetone. Allow static curing according to adhesive performance and weather conditions, extending curing time during winter as needed.
