Pipe connection
★ For optimal performance, adhere strictly to these socket connection procedures:
1. Begin by cleaning both the pipe socket and fitting socket thoroughly before proceeding with bonding.
2. Accurately measure the socket depth and mark it clearly on the pipe port.
3. Apply adhesive evenly, starting with the socket followed by the pipe fitting, ensuring a uniform coating.
4. Align the directions properly, insert the components into the marked area at once, and execute a 1/4 turn rotation.
5. Remove any excess adhesive remaining in the socket to ensure a clean finish.
6. Allow the bonded pipes to stand until the interface has fully cured.
★ To guarantee safe adhesive use, observe these essential guidelines:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents only as needed, restricting access to non-operators.
2. Ensure no open flames are present at the bonding site and maintain excellent ventilation.
3. Avoid constructing in temperatures below -10ºC, and refrain from using fire to bake adhesive points.
4. Equip all construction personnel with gloves. In case of adhesive contact with eyes, rinse immediately with ample water and seek medical assistance promptly.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Determine the saw pipe length by assessing layer-by-layer measurements and fitting dimensions. Select appropriate tools like fine-tooth saws, cutters, or pipe-cutting machines. Ensure a flat cut without deformation, and employ a medium board file to create a 15°-30° groove on the socket area to be glued. Groove length should be at least 3 mm, and thickness between 1/3 and 1/2 of the pipe wall. Clear any debris post-grooving.
Socket protection:
After connecting the socket, carefully clean any extruded adhesive with cotton yarn or a dry cloth moistened with a safe detergent like acetone. Allow the joint to cure statically, considering adhesive performance and climate conditions. Extend curing time appropriately during winter conditions.
