Pipe connection
★ For optimal socket connections, ensure adherence to the following systematic procedures:
1. Begin by meticulously wiping clean the pipe socket and fitting socket prior to bonding.
2. Accurately measure the socket depth and mark the pipe port accordingly.
3. Apply adhesive evenly, beginning with the socket and proceeding to the socket, ensuring uniform coverage.
4. Align precisely, insert to the marked depth in one smooth motion, and execute a 1/4 turn to secure.
5. Carefully remove any excess adhesive from the socket area.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand undisturbed until full curing of the interface.
★ Adhere to these safety guidelines for using adhesives effectively:
1. Limit use of adhesives and cleaning agents to trained personnel only, prohibiting access by non-operators.
2. Maintain a fire-free zone at bond sites and ensure adequate ventilation is provided.
3. Refrain from conducting operations at temperatures below -10ºC, and avoid using open flames to expedite adhesive curing.
4. Equip personnel with protective gloves. In case of accidental eye contact with adhesive, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek hospital treatment.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Determine the saw pipe length per layer based on precise measurements and dimensions of each connected fitting. Utilize fine tooth saws, cutters, or pipe cutting machines for clean cuts. Ensure flat, deformation-free sections. File socket areas to a 15°-30° groove with a medium board file; grooves should be at least 3mm long, with thickness 1/3-1/2 of the pipe wall. Clear debris post-grooving.
Socket protection:
Post-socket connection, cleanse any extruded adhesive using cotton yarn or a dry cloth moistened with acetone or similar detergent. Let the interface remain static to cure as per adhesive properties and ambient conditions. Extend curing time appropriately during winter construction.
