Pipe connection
★ Ensure secure socket connections by following these meticulous procedures:
1. Begin by cleansing the pipe socket and fitting socket to prepare for a seamless bonding process.
2. Carefully measure the socket depth and mark the pipe accordingly to ensure precision.
3. Apply adhesive evenly, starting with the socket, followed by the pipe, ensuring a uniform coat throughout.
4. Align and insert the pipe into the marked position, then rotate a quarter turn for a perfect fit.
5. Remove any excess adhesive from the socket to maintain a clean and efficient joint.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand until the interface is completely cured, securing a lasting connection.
★ Ensure adhesive safety by adhering to the following guidelines:
1. Only operators should handle adhesives and cleaning agents, ensuring controlled usage.
2. Maintain excellent ventilation and avoid open flames at the bonding site for safety.
3. Avoid construction in temperatures below -10ºC and refrain from using fire to heat adhesive points.
4. Equip personnel with gloves, and if adhesive enters the eyes, rinse immediately with water and seek medical attention.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
The pipe length is precisely determined layer by layer based on exact measurements and the dimensions of each fitting. Choose fine tooth saws, cutters, or pipe cutting machines for clean cuts without deformation. Prepare the socket area for bonding by creating a 15°-30° groove using a medium board file; the groove should be no less than 3mm and 1/3-1/2 the pipe wall thickness. Clean away debris post-groove completion for optimal adhesion.
Socket protection:
After connecting, cleanse the extruded adhesive with cotton yarn or a dry cloth moistened with a mild solvent like acetone. Allow the joint to set until cured, adjusting curing time for winter conditions as needed.
