Pipe connection
★ Pipe socket connection must adhere strictly to these meticulous procedures:
1. Ensure the pipe socket and fitting socket are meticulously cleaned before bonding.
2. Accurately measure the socket depth and clearly mark the pipe port.
3. Apply adhesive uniformly, starting with the socket, followed by the pipe fitting for optimal coating.
4. Align precisely, inserting into the marked area in one seamless motion, with a slight 1/4 turn rotation.
5. Clean any excess adhesive from the socket meticulously.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand undisturbed until the interface is fully cured.
★ To ensure the safe use of adhesives, adhere to these essential guidelines:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents responsibly, restricting access to non-operators.
2. Maintain a flame-free environment at the bonding site with proper ventilation.
3. Avoid construction below -10ºC, and refrain from using fire to bake adhesive points.
4. Equip construction personnel with gloves. In case of eye contact with adhesive, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek hospital treatment.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Determine the saw pipe length meticulously based on measurements and connected fitting dimensions. Use fine tooth saws, cutters, or pipe cutting machines for precise cuts, ensuring flat fractures with no deformation. Prepare the socket for adhesive by filing it to a 15°-30° groove, with a length not less than 3mm and thickness 1/3-1/2 of the pipe wall. Clear debris after finishing the groove.
Socket protection:
After socket connection, carefully clean the extruded adhesive with a cotton cloth or dry cloth moistened with a gentle detergent like acetone. Allow it to remain static until the interface cures, considering adhesive properties and climate conditions. Extend curing time appropriately for winter construction.
