Pipe connection
★ Ensure pipe socket connections are executed meticulously, following these essential procedures:
1. Prior to bonding, thoroughly clean both the pipe socket and pipe fitting socket.
2. Accurately measure the socket depth and mark the pipe opening accordingly.
3. Apply adhesive evenly, starting with the socket, ensuring a uniform coat.
4. Align the direction precisely, insert to the marked depth, and rotate a quarter turn to secure.
5. Remove any excess adhesive from the socket immediately.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand until the interface is fully cured for optimal strength.
★ Adhere to these safety protocols for adhesive use to ensure the utmost safety:
1. Only use adhesives and cleaning agents as needed, restricting access to non-operators.
2. Avoid open flames near bonding areas and ensure adequate ventilation.
3. Refrain from construction below -10ºC and never apply heat to adhesive points.
4. Equip personnel with gloves. If adhesive contacts the eyes, flush with water and seek medical attention.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
The saw pipe length should be precisely determined per layer, according to measurements and fitting dimensions. Employ fine-tooth saws, cutters, or pipe cutting machines for clean, deformation-free cuts. File a 15°-30° groove into the gluing socket part, with a depth no less than 3mm and thickness between 1/3 to 1/2 of the pipe wall. Remove debris after grooving.
Socket protection:
Post-connection, clean excess adhesive with a dry cloth or acetone-dipped cotton yarn. Let it cure according to adhesive performance and weather conditions, extending winter curing time as necessary.
