Pipe Connection
★ To ensure proper socket connections, follow these precise steps:
1. Clean both the pipe socket and pipe fitting socket thoroughly before bonding.
2. Measure the socket depth and mark the pipe port accordingly.
3. Apply adhesive evenly, starting with the socket and moving to the pipe, ensuring a uniform coating.
4. Align the pipes, insert them into the marked section in one go, and twist 1/4 turn.
5. Wipe away any excess adhesive from the socket.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand until the interface is fully cured.
★ Ensure safe use of adhesives by adhering to these guidelines:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents only as needed; unauthorized individuals should not handle them.
2. Avoid open flames at the bonding site, and ensure proper ventilation.
3. Do not conduct bonding operations below -10ºC, and never use fire to accelerate curing.
4. Equip construction personnel with gloves. In case of eye contact with adhesive, flush with water immediately and seek medical attention.
Installation Instructions
Saw Pipe and Groove:
Measure the length of each pipe segment layer by layer, accounting for the dimensions of all connected fittings. Use fine tooth saws, cutters, or pipe cutting machines to ensure clean, deformation-free cuts. The socket section to be glued should be filed into a 15°-30° groove with a medium board file, maintaining a groove length of at least 3mm and a depth of 1/3-1/2 of the pipe wall thickness. Remove any debris after filing.
Socket Protection:
After socket connection, clean off extruded adhesive with cotton yarn or a dry cloth lightly moistened with a detergent like acetone. Allow the joint to remain static until fully cured, adjusting curing time for winter conditions as necessary.
