Pipe connection
★ Ensure optimal pipe socket connections by following these meticulous procedures:
1. Begin by meticulously cleaning the pipe socket and fitting socket before any bonding.
2. Precisely measure the socket depth and mark the pipe port for accuracy.
3. Apply the adhesive with care, starting with the socket and ensuring an even and adequate coating.
4. Carefully align, insert to the marked depth, and give a 1/4 turn for secure fitting.
5. Clean off any excess adhesive from the socket for a neat finish.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand until a firm and secure cure is achieved.
★ Adhere to these safety guidelines for the secure use of adhesives:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents judiciously, reserving them for operator use only.
2. Ensure no open flames near the bonding area and maintain good ventilation.
3. Avoid constructing in temperatures below -10ºC and do not use fire to heat adhesive points.
4. Equip personnel with gloves; if adhesive contacts eyes, rinse with copious water and seek medical attention promptly.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Determine saw pipe length accurately for each layer based on precise measurements and connection dimensions. Use fine-tooth saws, cutters, or pipe cutting machines for a clean cut, ensuring no section deformation. File the socket part to a 15°-30° groove, with a groove length of at least 3mm and thickness 1/3-1/2 of the wall thickness. Clean away debris after grooving.
Socket protection:
After socket connection, clean extruded adhesive with cotton or a dry cloth and detergent (e.g., acetone). Allow the joint to cure statically in line with adhesive performance and weather conditions. Extend curing time for winter construction.
