Pipe Connection
★ Ensure optimal performance by strictly following these pipe socket connection procedures:
1. Thoroughly clean the pipe socket and fitting socket before bonding.
2. Measure socket depth and mark the pipe port accurately.
3. Apply adhesive uniformly, coating the socket first, followed by the pipe. Ensure an even and adequate layer.
4. Align the direction, insert the pipe to the marked depth in one go, and rotate it 1/4 turn for secure bonding.
5. Wipe off any remaining adhesive from the socket immediately.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand until the interface is fully cured.
★ Adhere to these safety guidelines when using adhesives:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents as needed and restrict access to operators only.
2. Ensure no open flames are present at the bonding site and maintain good ventilation.
3. Avoid construction in temperatures below -10ºC and do not use fire to expedite adhesive curing.
4. Equip construction personnel with gloves. If adhesive contacts the eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical attention.
Installation Instructions
Saw Pipe and Groove:
Determine the saw pipe length based on measured measurements and the dimensions of each connected fitting. Use fine-tooth saws, cutters, and pipe cutting machines for clean cuts. Ensure flat, deformation-free sections. File the socket part to be glued into a 15°-30° groove, typically not less than 3mm long and 1/3-1/2 the pipe wall thickness. Remove debris post-grooving.
Socket Protection:
After connecting the socket, clean the extruded adhesive with cotton yarn or a dry cloth dipped in a mild detergent like acetone. Allow the interface to cure, adjusting winter construction curing times as necessary based on adhesive performance and climatic conditions.
