Pipe connection
★ Adhere to the following precise procedures for pipe socket connections:
1. Ensure the pipe socket and fitting are thoroughly cleaned before bonding.
2. Accurately measure the socket depth and mark the pipe end.
3. Apply adhesive starting with the socket, followed by the pipe, maintaining a uniform and suitable coating.
4. Properly align, insert to the marked depth in a single motion, then rotate 1/4 turn.
5. Remove any excess adhesive from the socket.
6. Position the bonded pipe upright until the bond is fully cured.
★ Adhere to these safety guidelines when using adhesives:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents as needed; restrict use to operators only.
2. Ensure no open flames are present at bonding sites, and maintain adequate ventilation.
3. Avoid construction in temperatures below -10ºC; do not use fire to dry adhesive points.
4. Equip construction personnel with gloves. In case of eye contact, rinse immediately with ample water and seek medical attention.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Determine the saw pipe length layer by layer based on measurements and fittings. Use fine-tooth saws or pipe cutting tools for straight cuts without deformation. File socket ends into a 15°-30° groove, ensuring it is 1/3-1/2 of the pipe wall thickness. Remove debris post-grooving.
Socket protection:
Post-connection, clean extruded adhesive using cotton yarn or cloth with a detergent like acetone. Allow to cure as per adhesive performance and climate conditions. Extend curing time during winter construction.
