Pipe connection
★ For optimal performance, follow these precise steps in pipe socket connections:
1. Clean the pipe and fitting sockets meticulously before bonding.
2. Accurately measure the socket depth and mark the pipe endpoint.
3. Apply adhesive uniformly, starting with the socket and then the pipe, ensuring even coverage.
4. Align directions, insert to the marked depth in one motion, and rotate a quarter turn.
5. Remove any excess adhesive from the socket's surface.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand undisturbed until the interface is securely cured.
★ Adhere to these safety guidelines for adhesive use:
1. Only use adhesives and cleaners as needed, and restrict access to authorized personnel.
2. Ensure a flame-free environment at bonding sites, with adequate ventilation.
3. Avoid construction below -10ºC and refrain from direct heat when handling adhesive.
4. Equip personnel with gloves; if adhesive comes into contact with eyes, rinse immediately with ample water and seek medical attention.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Measure each pipe layer by layer to determine sawing length in accordance with fitting dimensions. Utilize fine-toothed saws, cutters, or cutting machines for precision. Ensure cuts are flat and the section remains undistorted. For bonding, file the socket into a 15°-30° groove with a medium board file. Grooves should be at least 3mm in length and 1/3 to 1/2 of the pipe wall in thickness. Remove debris post-grooving.
Socket protection:
After connecting, clean excess adhesive with a dry cloth or cotton yarn slightly dampened with a cleaning agent like acetone. Allow to cure, adjusting for adhesive properties and weather conditions, with extended curing times during winter.
