Pipe connection
★ Meticulous adherence to the following procedures is essential for a successful pipe socket connection:
1. Ensure that both the pipe socket and pipe fitting socket are thoroughly cleaned before bonding to guarantee a strong connection.
2. Measure and mark the depth of the socket to ensure precise and secure fitting.
3. Apply adhesive evenly; start with the socket, followed by the pipe, ensuring a balanced coat for a robust bond.
4. Carefully align and insert the pipe to the marked depth, then rotate by 1/4 turn to secure the fitting firmly.
5. Clean any excess adhesive from the socket to maintain a neat finish.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand until the interface is fully cured, ensuring a stable and strong connection.
★ Adhere to the following safety guidelines for adhesive use to ensure secure and safe application:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents judiciously, restricting access to non-operators for safety.
2. Maintain a flame-free environment at the bonding site and ensure good ventilation for safety and effectiveness.
3. Avoid construction in temperatures below -10ºC, and never use open flames to dry adhesive points.
4. Equip construction personnel with gloves for protection. In case of accidental contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical attention.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Determine the saw pipe length for each layer based on precise measurements and the dimensions of each connected fitting. Use fine-tooth saws, cutters, and pipe cutting machines for accuracy. Ensure a flat fracture without section deformation. File the socket area to a 15°-30° groove using a medium board file; the groove length should be at least 3mm, and the thickness should be 1/3-1/2 of the pipe wall. Remove debris post-grooving for a clean finish.
Socket protection:
Post-connection, use cotton yarn or a dry cloth with a bit of detergent like acetone to clean any extruded adhesive. Let the joint remain static until fully cured, adjusting for adhesive properties and weather conditions. Extend curing time appropriately during winter construction.
