Pipe connection
★ Follow these precise procedures for pipe socket connections to ensure optimal performance:
1. Begin by thoroughly cleaning the pipe socket and pipe fitting socket before applying adhesive.
2. Accurately measure the socket depth and mark the pipe port to ensure perfect alignment.
3. Apply adhesive evenly: coat the socket first, followed by the socket fitting, ensuring a uniform application.
4. Align correctly and insert into the marked section with a one-time motion, twisting 1/4 turn.
5. Remove any excess adhesive from the socket to maintain a clean finish.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand until the interface is fully cured, ensuring a secure fit.
★ Adhere to these safety guidelines when using adhesives:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents judiciously, limiting access to trained operators only.
2. Ensure no open flames are present at the bonding point and maintain good ventilation.
3. Avoid construction activities below -10ºC, and refrain from using fire to dry adhesive points.
4. Equip personnel with gloves; in case of adhesive contact with eyes, rinse thoroughly with water and seek medical attention immediately.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Determine the saw pipe length accurately for each layer based on measurements and the dimensions of connected fittings. Use fine-tooth saws, cutters, or pipe cutting machines to ensure smooth, deformation-free cuts. File socket areas into a 15°-30° groove with medium board files, maintaining a groove length of at least 3mm and a thickness of 1/3-1/2 of the pipe wall. Clean off debris post-grooving.
Socket protection:
After connecting the socket, carefully clean any extruded adhesive using cotton yarn or a dry cloth with a small amount of detergent like acetone. Allow the connection to remain static until cured, adjusting curing times during winter for optimal results.
