Pipe connection
★ To ensure a secure pipe socket connection, strictly adhere to the following detailed procedures:
1. Prior to bonding, meticulously clean both the pipe socket and fitting socket to ensure optimal adhesion.
2. Accurately measure the socket depth and mark the pipe port for precision alignment.
3. Apply adhesive carefully, beginning with the socket and followed by the pipe. Ensure a uniformly distributed and adequate coating.
4. Align precisely, insert into the marked position in one swift motion, and execute a 1/4 turn for secure fitment.
5. Thoroughly remove any adhesive residue remaining within the socket for a clean finish.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand undisturbed until the interface has fully cured, securing a robust joint.
★ For safe adhesive use, adhere to the following essential provisions:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents solely as needed, restricting access to non-operational personnel.
2. Maintain a flame-free environment at the bonding site with ample ventilation.
3. Avoid construction at temperatures below -10ºC and refrain from using fire to quicken adhesive setting.
4. Equip construction personnel with gloves. In case of accidental eye contact with adhesive, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical attention.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Determine the saw pipe length layer by layer based on precise measurements and the dimensions of each adjacent pipe fitting. Choose fine-tooth saws, cutters, or pipe cutting machines as tools, ensuring smooth, deformation-free cuts. File the socket area into a 15°-30° groove using a medium board file, with a groove length of at least 3mm and a thickness 1/3-1/2 of the pipe wall. Post-grooving, ensure all debris is cleared.
Socket protection:
Post-connection, clean the extruded adhesive using cotton yarn or a dry cloth lightly moistened with a detergent like acetone. Allow the socket to remain static until the interface is fully cured, as per adhesive performance and climate conditions. Extend curing time appropriately during winter construction.
