Pipe connection
★ Ensure precise pipe socket connections by strictly following these meticulously outlined procedures:
1. Thoroughly clean both the pipe socket and fitting socket before applying adhesive.
2. Accurately measure the socket depth and clearly mark the pipe end accordingly.
3. Apply adhesive generously, covering both the socket and fitting with an even layer for optimal bonding.
4. Align and insert the pipe into the marked section in one motion, then rotate 90 degrees for secure attachment.
5. Carefully remove any excess adhesive from the socket to maintain a neat finish.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to remain stationary until the adhesive has fully cured to ensure a robust connection.
★ Adhere to these safety guidelines for adhesive use:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents responsibly; they should be handled exclusively by trained personnel.
2. Maintain a flame-free environment at the bonding site and ensure proper ventilation at all times.
3. Avoid construction below -10ºC and refrain from using an open flame to accelerate adhesive curing.
4. Equip construction personnel with gloves; in case of accidental eye contact with adhesive, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical assistance.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Determine the length of each sawed pipe based on precise measurements and the dimensions of connected fittings. Utilize fine tooth saws, cutters, or pipe cutting machines. Ensure the cut is smooth and free from deformations. Prepare the socket by filing it into a 15°-30° groove using a medium file, with a groove length of at least 3mm. The groove thickness should be 1/3-1/2 of the pipe's wall thickness. Clean off any debris post-grooving for a pristine finish.
Socket protection:
After socket connection, cleanse the extruded adhesive using a cotton yarn or dry cloth dipped in a mild solvent like acetone. Leave static until the adhesive sets, considering possible extended curing times in colder climates.
