Pipe connection
★ Follow these precise steps for a perfect pipe socket connection:
1. Ensure cleanliness by wiping the pipe socket and fitting socket thoroughly before bonding.
2. Measure the depth of the socket accurately, marking the pipe port for precise alignment.
3. Apply adhesive carefully – coat the socket first, followed by the pipe, ensuring an even and adequate layer.
4. Align accurately, insert decisively into the marked section, and execute a 1/4 turn for optimal bonding.
5. Clean any excess adhesive from the socket for a tidy finish.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand undisturbed until the interface is fully cured.
★ Adhere to these safety guidelines when using adhesives:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents only as needed. Restrict access to non-operators for safety.
2. Ensure no open flames are present during bonding, and maintain good ventilation throughout the process.
3. Avoid construction at temperatures below -10ºC, and refrain from using fire to dry adhesive points.
4. Equip construction personnel with protective gloves. In case of accidental contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical attention promptly.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Determine the pipe length methodically, layer by layer, according to precise measurements and fitting dimensions. Utilize fine-tooth saws, cutters, or pipe cutting machines for clean cuts, ensuring no section deformation. For optimal bonding, file a 15°-30° groove on the socket, maintaining a length of at least 3mm and a depth of 1/3-1/2 of the pipe wall thickness. Clear away debris post-grooving for flawless assembly.
Socket protection:
Upon socket connection, cleanse the extruded adhesive with cotton yarn or a dry cloth moistened with a mild detergent like acetone. Allow to cure statically, considering adhesive properties and weather conditions. Extend curing time appropriately for winter construction.
