Pipe connection
★ Ensure each pipe socket connection is performed with precision by following these step-by-step procedures:
1. Begin by thoroughly cleaning both the pipe socket and the pipe fitting socket before application of adhesive.
2. Accurately measure the socket depth, then mark the pipe port to ensure precision.
3. Apply adhesive carefully: coat the socket first, followed by the pipe socket, ensuring an even and appropriate application.
4. Align the components, insert them to the marked depth in one motion, and rotate by 1/4 turn to secure.
5. Clean any excess adhesive remaining within the socket to maintain a neat finish.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand until the adhesive interface is fully cured for optimal strength.
★ Adhere to these safety guidelines when using adhesives to ensure a secure and hazard-free environment:
1. Only authorized personnel should handle adhesives and cleaning agents, using them strictly as needed.
2. Maintain safety by eliminating open flames near the bonding area and ensuring proper ventilation.
3. Refrain from construction below -10ºC, and avoid using fire to hasten the adhesive setting process.
4. Always wear gloves during application. If adhesive contacts the eyes, rinse immediately with ample water and seek medical attention.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Determine the saw pipe length accurately, accounting for measured dimensions and the size of each connected fitting. Utilize fine-tooth saws, cutters, or pipe cutting machines for precise cuts. Ensure a flat, deformation-free section. File the socket part to be glued into a 15°-30° groove, with a length of at least 3mm and a thickness of 1/3-1/2 of the pipe wall. Clear away debris once the groove is completed.
Socket protection:
After socket connection, clean excess adhesive using cotton yarn or a dry cloth with a small amount of detergent, such as acetone. Allow the joint to cure statically, adjusting the time based on adhesive performance and weather conditions, especially extending curing time during winter construction.
