Pipe Connection
★ Ensure optimal performance with strict adherence to the following pipe socket connection procedures:
1. Clean both the pipe socket and the pipe fitting socket meticulously before applying any bonding agent.
2. Accurately measure the socket's depth and mark the pipe port to ensure precision.
3. Apply the adhesive carefully: coat the socket first, followed by the pipe fitting socket, ensuring uniform and appropriate coverage.
4. Align precisely, and insert into the marked section with a 1/4 turn twist.
5. Clean away any remaining adhesive from the socket area immediately.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand undisturbed until full interface curing is achieved.
★ Follow these crucial guidelines for the safe use of adhesives:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents judiciously, ensuring only authorized personnel handle them.
2. Maintain a flame-free environment at the bonding site and ensure proper ventilation at all times.
3. Avoid conducting work below -10ºC and refrain from using fire to dry adhesive points.
4. Personnel should wear gloves; in case of eye contact with adhesive, flush with plenty of water and seek immediate medical attention.
Installation Instructions
Saw Pipe and Groove:
Determine the saw pipe length based on precise measurements of each connection layer by layer. Use tools such as a fine tooth saw, cutter, or pipe cutting machine. Ensure a flat fracture, free from deformation. For a secure fit, file the socket section into a 15°-30° groove using a medium board file. The groove should be at least 3mm long and 1/3-1/2 of the pipe wall thickness. Remove any debris post-grooving.
Socket Protection:
After socket connection, cleanse any extruded adhesive using cotton yarn or a dry cloth moistened with a detergent like acetone. Allow the assembly to remain static until complete curing, adjusted for adhesive performance and weather conditions. Extend curing time during winter for optimal adherence.
