Pipe connection
★ Ensure a secure pipe socket connection by adhering to these meticulously outlined procedures:
1. Thoroughly clean both the pipe socket and fitting socket prior to bonding for optimal adhesion.
2. Accurately measure the socket depth and mark the pipe port for precision.
3. Apply adhesive evenly; begin with the socket, followed by the socket, ensuring a uniform and sufficient layer.
4. Align properly and insert into the marked area in one swift motion, then rotate a quarter turn.
5. Clean off any excess adhesive remaining in the socket for a tidy finish.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand undisturbed until the interface fully cures.
★ Adhere to these guidelines for the safe handling of adhesives:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents judiciously, restricting access to non-operators.
2. Maintain a flame-free environment at the bonding site with adequate ventilation.
3. Refrain from construction below -10ºC and avoid using fire to expedite adhesive curing.
4. Ensure construction personnel wear gloves; if adhesive contacts the eyes, rinse immediately with water and seek medical attention.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Determine the saw pipe length precisely, layer by layer, considering precise measurements and the dimensions of each fitting. Employ fine-tooth saws, cutters, or pipe cutting machines for a smooth cut. The end must be flat, with no deformation. File the socket into a 15°-30° groove, ensuring a length no less than 3mm, and a groove depth of 1/3-1/2 of the pipe wall thickness. Clean off any debris post-grooving.
Socket protection:
Post-connection, gently remove excess adhesive using cotton yarn or a dry cloth with a mild detergent like acetone. Allow the joint to cure based on adhesive properties and weather conditions, extending curing time appropriately during winter construction.
