Pipe connection
★ Adhere strictly to the following procedures for effective pipe socket connections:
1. Ensure both the pipe socket and fitting socket are thoroughly cleaned before bonding.
2. Precisely measure the socket depth and appropriately mark the pipe port.
3. Apply the adhesive uniformly: coat the socket first, followed by the pipe fitting socket.
4. Align precisely, insert into the marked section in one swift motion, and complete a 1/4 turn rotation.
5. Clean any adhesive residue from the socket area meticulously.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand uninterrupted until the interface is fully cured.
★ Adhere to these safety guidelines for adhesive use:
1. Only authorized personnel should handle adhesives and cleaning agents, ensuring they are used as needed.
2. Maintain a flame-free environment at the bonding site, with optimal ventilation for safety.
3. Avoid construction below -10ºC, and refrain from using fire to heat the adhesive point.
4. Equip construction teams with gloves; in case of eye exposure, rinse immediately with ample water and seek medical attention.
Installation Instructions
Saw Pipe and Groove:
Determine pipe length meticulously based on exact measurements and connected fitting dimensions. Opt for fine tooth saws, cutters, or pipe cutting machines for precision. Ensure cuts are smooth, without sectional deformation. For glue sockets, file a 15°-30° groove, ensuring a minimum 3mm length and 1/3-1/2 wall thickness depth. Remove debris meticulously post-grooving.
Socket Protection:
After securing the socket, cleanse any extruded adhesive using cotton yarn or a dry cloth with a mild detergent like acetone. Allow the joint to rest until cured, considering adhesive properties and external conditions. Extend curing time appropriately during winter months for optimal results.
