Pipe Connection
★ Follow these precise procedures for a secure pipe socket connection:
1. Ensure the cleanliness of both the pipe socket and fitting socket before bonding.
2. Accurately measure the socket depth and clearly mark the pipe port.
3. Apply adhesive uniformly, starting with the socket, followed by the pipe, ensuring an even coat.
4. Carefully align and insert into the marked area, executing a 1/4 turn for proper bonding.
5. Remove any excess adhesive from the socket promptly.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand until the interface is fully cured.
★ Adhere to these safety guidelines when using adhesives:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents responsibly, restricted to trained personnel only.
2. Maintain good ventilation and ensure no open flames are present at the bonding site.
3. Avoid construction in temperatures below -10ºC, and refrain from using fire to dry adhesive points.
4. Equip personnel with gloves. In case of eye contact with adhesive, rinse immediately with water and seek medical assistance.
Installation Instructions
Saw Pipe and Groove:
Determine the saw pipe length accurately based on measurements and fitting dimensions. Use appropriate tools such as a fine tooth saw, cutter, or pipe cutting machine. Ensure the cut is flat with no section deformation. File the socket area into a 15°-30° groove with a medium board file. Groove length should be at least 3mm, and thickness 1/3-1/2 of the pipe wall thickness. Remove debris post-grooving.
Socket Protection:
Post-connection, clean any extruded adhesive with cotton yarn or a dry cloth with detergent like acetone. Allow the interface to cure based on adhesive properties and weather conditions, extending curing time for winter construction.
