Pipe connection
★ The pipe socket connection mandates strict adherence to the following procedures to ensure optimal bonding:
1. Ensure both the pipe socket and fitting socket are meticulously cleaned before applying the bond.
2. Precisely measure the socket depth and clearly mark the pipe port.
3. Apply the adhesive evenly, starting with the socket and followed by the fitting socket, ensuring uniform and adequate coverage.
4. Align the pipes accurately, insert them to the marked depth in a single motion, and rotate by a quarter turn.
5. Clean away any adhesive residue in the socket immediately.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand undisturbed until the interface is fully cured.
★ Adhering to safe adhesive usage entails the following guidelines:
1. Utilize adhesives and cleaning agents judiciously, ensuring they are handled only by trained operators.
2. Maintain a flame-free environment at bonding points, ensuring excellent ventilation.
3. Avoid working at temperatures below -10ºC, and never apply direct heat to the adhesive point.
4. Equip construction personnel with protective gloves. If adhesive contacts eyes, rinse immediately with abundant water and seek medical attention promptly.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Determine the saw pipe length based on precise measurements and the dimensions of each connecting fitting. Choose fine-tooth saws, cutters, or pipe cutting machinery for cutting. Ensure a clean, flat cut without deformation. File the socket section to be bonded into a 15°-30° groove with a medium board file. The groove should be no less than 3mm in length and 1/3 to 1/2 of the pipe wall thickness. Post-grooving, thoroughly remove all debris.
Socket protection:
Following socket connection, cleanse any extruded adhesive with a cotton cloth or dry cloth dabbed in detergent like acetone. Allow the assembly to remain static until the adhesive cures, factoring in performance and climatic conditions. Extend curing duration during winter construction as necessary.
