Pipe connection
★ Ensure a secure pipe socket connection by following these precise procedures:
1. Begin by thoroughly cleaning both the pipe socket and the pipe fitting socket before applying any adhesive.
2. Accurately measure the socket depth and mark the pipe port accordingly.
3. Apply adhesive with precision, starting with the socket and then moving to the pipe, ensuring an even and adequate coating.
4. Carefully align the direction, insert it to the marked point in one smooth motion, then rotate it by a 1/4 turn.
5. Neatly clean any adhesive residue from the socket for a tidy finish.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand until the interface has fully cured, ensuring a firm connection.
★ Adhere to these safety guidelines when using adhesives:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents strictly as needed, and restrict usage to trained operators only.
2. Ensure no open flames are present at the bonding site and maintain good ventilation throughout.
3. Avoid construction at temperatures below -10ºC and refrain from using fire to bake adhesive points.
4. Equip construction personnel with gloves, and in case of adhesive contact with eyes, rinse immediately with water and seek medical attention.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Determine the saw pipe length by layers, using measured dimensions and connected pipe fittings. Select tools like fine tooth saws, cutters, or pipe cutting machines for precision. Ensure a flat fracture with no section deformation. File the socket part into a 15°-30° groove with a medium board file; groove length should be at least 3mm, and groove thickness should be 1/3-1/2 of the pipe wall thickness. Clean debris post-groove.
Socket protection:
Post-connection, clean extruded adhesive from the socket using cotton yarn or a dry cloth moistened with a suitable detergent like acetone. Allow to remain static until the interface has cured according to adhesive performance and weather conditions, extending curing time in winter as necessary.
