Pipe connection
★ Ensure optimal pipe socket connections by meticulously following these essential steps:
1. Thoroughly clean both the pipe socket and fitting socket before applying adhesive for a secure bond.
2. Accurately measure and mark the socket depth on the pipe for precise alignment.
3. Apply adhesive evenly, starting with the socket and then the pipe, ensuring thorough and consistent coverage.
4. Carefully align and insert the pipe into the marked socket, rotating it by 1/4 turn for a secure fit.
5. Remove any excess adhesive from the socket to maintain a clean and professional finish.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand undisturbed until the interface is fully cured for a robust connection.
★ Follow these crucial safety guidelines when using adhesives to ensure safe and effective application:
1. Utilize adhesives and cleaning agents responsibly, restricted to operators only to ensure safety.
2. Maintain a flame-free environment at bonding sites with excellent ventilation to prevent hazards.
3. Avoid construction below -10ºC, and refrain from using open flames to hasten the adhesive process.
4. Equip construction personnel with gloves. In case of eye contact, rinse with water immediately and seek medical attention.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Determine the saw pipe length based on precise measurements and fitting dimensions. Use appropriate tools such as a fine-tooth saw or pipe cutter for clean, flat cuts without deformation. File the socket area into a 15°-30° groove, ensuring it’s 1/3-1/2 of the wall thickness, with a length of at least 3mm. Clean debris post-grooving for optimal results.
Socket protection:
Cleanse the socket post-connection with cotton yarn or a dry cloth. Use a little detergent like acetone, then allow the adhesive to cure based on its properties and weather conditions. Extend curing time during winter for better results.
