Pipe connection
★ The pipe socket connection must be meticulously performed as follows:
1. Clean the pipe socket and fitting socket thoroughly before bonding.
2. Measure the socket depth and mark the pipe port accordingly.
3. Apply adhesive uniformly, starting with the socket and then the pipe, ensuring an even coat.
4. Align properly, insert into the marked part in one motion, and rotate it by 1/4 turn.
5. Wipe off any excess adhesive from the socket.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand until the interface is fully cured.
★ For safe adhesive use, adhere to the following guidelines:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents as needed, and restrict use to trained personnel only.
2. Ensure there are no open flames near the bonding area and maintain good ventilation.
3. Avoid constructing below -10ºC and refrain from using fire to dry adhesive points.
4. Construction personnel should wear gloves. If adhesive contacts the eyes, rinse immediately with copious amounts of water and seek medical attention.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Determine the saw pipe length based on measured dimensions and the size of each connected fitting. Use fine-tooth saws, cutters, or pipe-cutting machines for sawing. Ensure the cut is smooth and the section remains undistorted. For the socket to be glued, file a 15°-30° groove using a medium board file. The groove length should be at least 3mm, and the groove depth should be 1/3 to 1/2 of the pipe wall thickness. Remove all debris after grooving.
Socket protection:
After connecting the socket, clean the extruded adhesive with cotton yarn or a dry cloth dipped in a mild detergent like acetone. Let it stand until fully cured according to the adhesive's performance and climatic conditions. Extend curing time appropriately during winter construction.
