Pipe connection
★ For optimal results, pipe socket connections must adhere to these precise procedures:
1. Before bonding, ensure that both the pipe socket and fitting socket are thoroughly cleaned.
2. Measure and mark the socket depth on the pipe accurately.
3. Apply the adhesive carefully, starting with the socket, then the fitting. Ensure an even and adequate coating.
4. Align the parts correctly and insert firmly to the marking, twisting 1/4 turn to secure.
5. Clean off any residual adhesive from the socket for a neat finish.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand undisturbed until the interface has fully cured.
★ Adhere to these safety guidelines for the secure use of adhesives:
1. Only trained personnel should handle adhesives and cleaning agents; unauthorized use is prohibited.
2. Ensure that the bonding area is well-ventilated, and keep it free from open flames.
3. Avoid constructing in temperatures below -10ºC, and never use fire to dry adhesive points.
4. Equip construction workers with gloves. If adhesive contacts eyes, rinse immediately with water and seek medical assistance promptly.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
For precise sawing, determine pipe lengths based on actual measurements and connected fittings. Use fine-tooth saws, cutters, or pipe cutting machines for best results. Ensure cuts are smooth and deformation-free. Use a medium board file to create a 15°-30° groove for gluing, with a length of at least 3mm and a thickness of 1/3-1/2 of the pipe wall. Clean up debris after grooving.
Socket protection:
After socket connections, remove excess adhesive with a cotton cloth moistened with mild detergent like acetone. Allow the joint to cure undisturbed, considering adhesive properties and weather conditions. Extend curing time during winter for optimal results.
