Pipe connection
★ Follow these precise socket connection steps to ensure optimal performance:
1. Thoroughly clean both the pipe socket and fitting socket before bonding to ensure a strong connection.
2. Accurately measure and mark the socket depth for precise alignment during installation.
3. For even adhesion, apply the adhesive by painting the socket first, followed by the socket, ensuring a uniform coat.
4. Align accurately, insert swiftly into the marked position, and rotate by a quarter turn for a secure fit.
5. Remove any excess adhesive from the socket immediately to maintain a neat finish.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to cure in a standing position to ensure a robust and secure interface.
★ Adhere to these safety tips for adhesive use:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents responsibly, restricting usage to trained operators only.
2. Maintain a flame-free workspace with good ventilation at the bonding site.
3. Avoid construction below -10ºC and refrain from using fire to accelerate adhesive curing.
4. Wear gloves during construction, and in case of eye contact with adhesive, rinse immediately with water and seek medical attention.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Determine saw pipe length based on precise measurements and fitting dimensions. Utilize fine-tooth saws, cutters, or pipe cutting machines for clean cuts with no deformation. File a 15°-30° groove at the socket part to be glued, ensuring the groove is at least 3mm long and 1/3-1/2 the wall thickness. Remove debris post-grooving for a clean surface.
Socket protection:
After completing the socket connection, clean the extruded adhesive with cotton yarn or a dry cloth dipped in detergent like acetone. Allow it to cure according to adhesive performance and climate conditions, extending cure time for winter construction if needed.
