Pipe Connection Guidelines
★ Follow these steps for a secure pipe socket connection:
1. Wipe the pipe socket and pipe fitting socket clean before bonding.
2. Measure the depth of the socket and mark the pipe port accordingly.
3. Apply adhesive evenly, starting with the socket and then the pipe fitting socket.
4. Align the direction, insert the pipe up to the mark in one go, and rotate it 1/4 turn.
5. Wipe off any excess adhesive remaining around the socket.
6. Let the bonded pipe stand until the joint is fully cured.
★ Ensure safe adhesive use with these rules:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents as needed; restrict use to trained personnel only.
2. Ensure no open flames are near the bonding area and maintain good ventilation.
3. Avoid construction in temperatures below -10ºC; do not use fire to dry adhesive points.
4. Wear gloves during application. If adhesive contacts eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical help.
Installation Instructions
Sawing Pipe and Creating Grooves:
Cut pipes to length based on accurate measurements and the dimensions of each fitting. Use fine-tooth saws, cutters, or pipe cutting machines. Ensure the cut is flat and the section remains undeformed. Create a groove of 15°-30° with a medium board file if bonding is required. The groove should be at least 3mm long, with a thickness of 1/3-1/2 of the pipe wall. Clean any debris after grooving.
Socket Protection:
After connecting the socket, clean any extruded adhesive using cotton yarn or a dry cloth with a mild detergent like acetone. Allow the joint to cure based on the adhesive's properties and climate conditions. Extend curing time appropriately during winter.
