Pipe connection
★ Ensure strict adherence to the following procedure for pipe socket connections:
1. Thoroughly clean both the pipe socket and the fitting socket before proceeding with bonding.
2. Accurately measure the socket depth and mark the pipe port accordingly.
3. Apply adhesive evenly, starting with the socket, followed by the fitting. Ensure uniform and appropriate coating.
4. Carefully align, insert into the marked section in one go, and rotate 1/4 turn for secure bonding.
5. Clean any excess adhesive from the socket immediately.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand until the interface is fully cured for optimal strength.
★ Adhere to the following guidelines for safe adhesive use:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents prudently and restrict usage to trained operators only.
2. Maintain a flame-free environment at the bonding site and ensure proper ventilation.
3. Avoid construction at temperatures below -10ºC, and do not use fire to dry the adhesive point.
4. Ensure construction personnel wear gloves. In case of adhesive contact with eyes, rinse thoroughly with water and seek medical attention promptly.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Determine the saw pipe length layer by layer based on precise measurements and the dimensions of connected fittings. Use fine-toothed saws, cutters, or pipe cutting machines for a smooth, deformation-free cut. File the socket area to be glued into a 15°-30° groove, ensuring the groove length is at least 3mm, and the thickness is 1/3 to 1/2 of the pipe wall. Remove debris post-grooving for a clean finish.
Socket protection:
After socket connection, cleanse the extruded adhesive with cotton yarn or dry cloth moistened with a mild detergent like acetone. Allow the assembly to stabilize until the adhesive cures, considering climate and adhesive performance. Extend curing time appropriately for winter projects.
