Pipe connection
★ Follow these meticulous steps to ensure a secure pipe socket connection:
1. Meticulously clean the pipe socket and fitting socket prior to bonding to ensure a flawless joint.
2. Precisely measure the socket depth and accurately mark the pipe port, ensuring exactness.
3. Apply adhesive evenly, starting from the socket, followed by the pipe fitting, for a perfect coat.
4. With precision, align the direction and insert into the marking, turning 1/4 for a secure grip.
5. Diligently wipe away excess adhesive from the socket for a clean finish.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand until the interface is fully cured, ensuring optimal stability.
★ Adhere to these safety guidelines for the prudent use of adhesives:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents judiciously, ensuring non-operators refrain from usage.
2. Maintain a flame-free environment at the bonding site with proper ventilation for safety.
3. Avoid construction below -10ºC; never use fire to expedite the curing process.
4. Equip construction personnel with gloves; in case of adhesive contact with eyes, rinse immediately and seek medical attention.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Determine pipe lengths accurately layer by layer based on measured dimensions and connected fittings. Utilize fine tooth saws, cutters, or pipe cutting machines for precision. Ensure the cut is smooth and deformation-free. File the socket end to a 15°-30° groove with a medium board file, ensuring a minimum length of 3mm and a thickness between 1/3 to 1/2 of the pipe wall. Clear debris post-grooving for optimal bonding.
Socket protection:
Post-connection, cleanse excess adhesive from the socket using cotton yarn or a dry cloth with mild detergent like acetone. Allow the joint to remain static until cured, adhering to adhesive properties and weather conditions. Extend curing time suitably during winter construction.
