Pipe connection
★ For optimal performance, pipe socket connections must adhere strictly to the following detailed procedures:
1. Ensure a pristine bond by thoroughly cleaning both the pipe socket and pipe fitting socket before applying adhesive.
2. Accurately measure the socket depth and mark the pipe port for precise alignment.
3. Apply the adhesive meticulously, starting with the socket, followed by the pipe, ensuring even coverage.
4. Align carefully, insert into the marked section in one swift move, then rotate by a quarter turn for secure attachment.
5. Clean any residual adhesive from the socket to maintain a neat finish.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand undisturbed until the interface is fully cured for maximum integrity.
★ Adhere to these safety guidelines when using adhesives:
1. Only use adhesives and cleaning agents as needed, restricting access to trained operators.
2. Maintain a flame-free environment at the bonding site, ensuring proper ventilation throughout the process.
3. Avoid construction below -10ºC and never use fire to dry adhesive points.
4. Construction personnel must wear gloves, and in case of eye contact with adhesive, rinse immediately with abundant water and seek medical attention.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Determine saw pipe length by precise measurement and fitting dimensions, using fine-tooth saws, cutters, or pipe cutting machines. Ensure cuts are flat and sections remain undeformed. File the socket into a 15°-30° groove, at least 3mm long, with thickness 1/3-1/2 of the pipe wall. Remove debris post-groove for optimal results.
Socket protection:
Post-connection, clean extruded adhesive with cotton or dry cloth and a mild detergent like acetone. Allow to cure according to adhesive properties and climate. In winter, extend curing time for best results.
