Pipe connection
★ Execute pipe socket connections meticulously, adhering to the following detailed procedures:
1. Ensure both the pipe socket and fitting socket are thoroughly cleaned before applying adhesive.
2. Accurately measure the socket depth and clearly mark the pipe end.
3. Apply adhesive evenly, starting with the socket and then the pipe, ensuring an appropriate coating.
4. Align correctly, insert the pipe into the marked area, and rotate a quarter turn for secure seating.
5. Clean any excess adhesive from the socket to maintain a neat finish.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand until the joint fully cures for optimal stability.
★ Adhere to these guidelines for the safe use of adhesives:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents judiciously, restricting access to trained personnel only.
2. Maintain a no-flame zone at bonding locations, ensuring excellent ventilation throughout the process.
3. Avoid construction in temperatures below -10ºC, and refrain from using fire to dry adhesive points.
4. Equip construction personnel with gloves. In case of accidental eye contact with adhesive, rinse with ample water and seek medical attention.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Carefully determine the saw pipe length based on precise measurements and the dimensions of each connected fitting. Employ fine-tooth saws, cutters, or pipe cutting machines for a clean cut, ensuring no section deformation. File the socket area for bonding into a 15°-30° groove with a medium board file, maintaining a groove length of at least 3mm and a thickness of 1/3 to 1/2 of the pipe wall. Clear any debris after grooving.
Socket protection:
Post-connection, cleanse any extruded adhesive using cotton yarn or a dry cloth with a small amount of detergent like acetone. Allow the assembly to cure statically based on adhesive performance and climatic conditions, extending curing time in winter for optimal results.
