Pipe connection
★ Ensure leak-proof joints by adhering to precise pipe socket connection procedures:
1. Prior to bonding, thoroughly clean the pipe socket and fitting to ensure optimal adhesion.
2. Accurately measure and mark the pipe port to correspond with the depth of the socket.
3. Apply adhesive evenly, coating the socket first followed by the pipe fitting for a uniform bond.
4. Align precisely, then insert and twist 1/4 turn to secure the connection at the marked depth.
5. Remove any excess adhesive from the socket for a clean finish.
6. Allow the bonded pipes to stand undisturbed until the adhesive fully cures.
★ Adhere to these guidelines for safe adhesive use:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents judiciously; restrict access to trained operators only.
2. Maintain a flame-free environment at the bonding site, ensuring adequate ventilation.
3. Avoid construction in temperatures below -10ºC, and refrain from using open flames to hasten adhesive curing.
4. Equip construction staff with gloves, and in the event of eye contact with adhesive, rinse thoroughly with water and seek medical attention promptly.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Determine the precise length for sawing pipes based on site measurements and fitting dimensions. Use fine tooth saws, cutters, or pipe cutting machines to ensure clean cuts without deformation. Grooves for adhesive application should be crafted at a 15°-30° angle, with a minimum length of 3mm and thickness between 1/3 and 1/2 of the pipe wall. Post-grooving, remove all debris for a pristine finish.
Socket protection:
After socket connection, cleanse excess adhesive using cotton yarn or a cloth with a touch of detergent like acetone. Allow the joint to cure per adhesive properties and climatic conditions, extending curing times in winter for optimal results.
