Pipe connection
★ Follow these essential steps for a successful pipe socket connection:
1. Ensure the pipe socket and fitting socket are cleaned thoroughly before applying adhesive.
2. Measure and mark the socket depth on the pipe port accurately.
3. Carefully paint the adhesive: begin with the socket, then proceed to the pipe, ensuring an even, appropriate coating.
4. Align properly, insert the pipe into the marked section in one smooth motion, and rotate it by 1/4 turn.
5. Clean any excess adhesive from the socket immediately.
6. Allow the bonded assembly to stand until the adhesive cures completely.
★ Adhere to these safety guidelines for adhesive use:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents judiciously, restricting access to non-operating personnel.
2. Maintain a flame-free environment around bonding points and ensure adequate ventilation.
3. Avoid construction below -10ºC, and refrain from using fire to dry adhesive points.
4. Protective gloves are a must for construction personnel. If adhesive contacts eyes, rinse thoroughly with water and seek medical attention promptly.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Determine the saw pipe length accurately based on measured dimensions and connected fittings. Choose fine-tooth saws or pipe cutting machines for precise cutting. Ensure cuts are flat with no sectional deformation. Chamfer the socket area to a 15°-30° angle, maintaining groove length over 3mm and thickness between 1/3 to 1/2 of the pipe wall. Clean debris post-grooving.
Socket protection:
Post-connection, cleanse excess adhesive using cotton or a dry cloth with mild detergent, like acetone. Allow curing based on adhesive properties and weather conditions, extending time for winter constructions.
