Pipe connection
★ Ensure optimal pipe socket connections with strict adherence to the following comprehensive procedures:
1. Begin by meticulously cleaning both the pipe socket and the pipe fitting socket before initiating the bonding process.
2. Accurately measure the depth of the socket and clearly mark the pipe port for precise alignment.
3. Apply adhesive with care, starting with the socket and then the pipe, ensuring an even and appropriate coating.
4. Carefully align the direction, insert into the marked area in one smooth motion, and execute a 1/4 turn rotation for secure bonding.
5. Thoroughly wipe away any excess adhesive from the socket after insertion.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand undisturbed until the interface is fully cured for maximum strength.
★ Adhere to the following safety guidelines for adhesive use to ensure secure and effective connections:
1. Limit adhesive and cleaning agent use to necessary personnel only to prevent mishandling.
2. Maintain a flame-free environment at the bonding site, ensuring excellent ventilation throughout.
3. Avoid construction below -10ºC and refrain from using fire to hasten adhesive curing.
4. Equip construction personnel with gloves; in case of accidental eye contact with adhesive, rinse immediately with water and seek medical attention.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Determine the saw pipe length meticulously, layer by layer, based on precise measurements and the dimensions of each fitting. Opt for fine-tooth saws, cutters, and pipe cutting machines for clean cuts. Ensure a flat fracture with no section deformation. File the socket to a 15°-30° groove using a medium board file for optimal bonding; groove length must be 3mm minimum, with thickness between 1/3 and 1/2 of the pipe wall. Clear debris post-grooving for a clean finish.
Socket protection:
Post-connection, cleanse the extruded adhesive with cotton yarn or a dry cloth slightly moistened with detergent like acetone. Allow the connection to remain static until fully cured, adjusting for adhesive performance and weather conditions; extend curing time during winter as needed.
