Pipe Connection
★ Ensure secure pipe connections by meticulously following these essential procedures:
1. Thoroughly clean both the pipe socket and fitting socket before beginning the bonding process.
2. Accurately measure the socket depth and mark the pipe accordingly.
3. Apply adhesive by first coating the socket and then the pipe fitting, ensuring an even and adequate application.
4. Carefully align and insert the pipe to the marked depth, rotating it 1/4 turn for optimal bonding.
5. Remove any excess adhesive from the socket area for a neat finish.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand until the adhesive has fully cured, securing a strong connection.
★ Adhere to these safety guidelines when using adhesives to ensure a safe working environment:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents responsibly, prohibiting access to non-operational personnel.
2. Maintain a flame-free area at bonding points and ensure adequate ventilation for safety.
3. Avoid construction at temperatures below -10ºC and do not heat adhesive points with open flames.
4. Equip construction personnel with gloves, and in case of eye contact with adhesive, rinse immediately with water and seek medical attention.
Installation Instructions
Saw Pipe and Groove:
Determine pipe length with precise measurement and adjust per each connected fitting. Use fine tooth saws, cutters, or pipe cutting machines for clean cuts. Ensure no deformation occurs at the section. File the socket area to a 15°-30° groove, ensuring the length is no less than 3mm, with groove thickness at 1/3-1/2 of the pipe wall. Clear debris post-grooving for optimal bonding.
Socket Protection:
Post-connection, clean extruded adhesive with cotton or dry cloth using a mild solvent like acetone. Allow the interface to static cure based on adhesive performance and climate conditions, with extended curing times for winter applications.
