Pipe connection
★ For optimal results, follow these detailed pipe socket connection steps:
1. Ensure the pipe and fitting sockets are clean and spotless prior to bonding for a secure connection.
2. Accurately measure the socket depth, then clearly mark the pipe port for precise alignment.
3. Apply adhesive meticulously; start with the socket before moving to the fitting, ensuring an even and appropriate coating.
4. Align carefully, insert to the marked depth in one go, and rotate a quarter turn for a snug fit.
5. Wipe off any excess adhesive from the socket to maintain a clean finish.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand until the interface fully cures, securing the bond.
★ Adhere to these safety guidelines for the safe use of adhesives:
1. Only use adhesives and cleaning agents as needed; restrict access to non-operators to ensure safety.
2. Maintain a flame-free and well-ventilated environment at the bonding site to prevent hazards.
3. Avoid sub-zero construction below -10ºC, and never use fire to dry adhesive points.
4. Equip construction personnel with protective gloves. In case of accidental contact with eyes, rinse thoroughly with water and seek medical attention.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Determine the saw pipe length accurately based on precise measurements and the dimensions of connected fittings. Choose fine-tooth saws, cutters, or pipe cutting machines for the task. Ensure cuts are flat, without deformation. File sockets into a 15°-30° groove with a medium board file, ensuring groove lengths are 3mm minimum and 1/3-1/2 of the pipe wall thickness. Clear debris post-grooving.
Socket protection:
After socket connection, diligently clean extruded adhesive with cotton yarn or a dry cloth moistened with detergent like acetone. Let it set until cured, adapting to adhesive and climate conditions. Extend curing times appropriately during winter construction.
