Pipe Connection
★ Adhere to the following steps for optimal pipe socket connections:
1. Ensure both the pipe socket and fitting socket are clean before bonding.
2. Measure the socket depth and mark the pipe port accordingly.
3. Apply adhesive uniformly, starting with the socket and then the fitting socket.
4. Align and insert the pipe into the marked section in one motion, then rotate 1/4 turn.
5. Wipe away any excess adhesive from the socket.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand until the interface is fully cured.
★ Follow these safety guidelines when using adhesives:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents as needed, ensuring they are handled only by trained personnel.
2. Maintain proper ventilation and keep bonding areas free of open flames.
3. Avoid construction in temperatures below -10ºC and do not use fire to speed up the curing process.
4. Workers should wear gloves. If adhesive contacts the eyes, rinse immediately with water and seek medical attention.
Installation Instructions
Saw Pipe and Groove:
The sawed pipe length should be determined based on precise measurements and the dimensions of each connected fitting. Use fine-tooth saws, cutters, or pipe cutting machines to ensure a clean, flat cut without deformation. The socket area to be glued should be grooved at a 15°-30° angle using a medium board file, with a groove length of at least 3mm and a thickness of 1/3-1/2 of the pipe wall. Remove all debris after grooving.
Socket Protection:
After socket connection, clean any extruded adhesive with a cloth dipped in a mild detergent like acetone. Allow the joint to cure based on adhesive performance and weather conditions, extending curing time appropriately for winter constructions.
