Pipe connection
★ Follow these precise steps for optimal pipe socket connections:
1. Begin by thoroughly cleaning both the pipe socket and fitting socket before proceeding with bonding.
2. Measure the socket depth carefully and mark the pipe port for accurate alignment.
3. Apply the adhesive coat evenly, starting with the socket, ensuring a uniform and sufficient covering.
4. Align accurately, insert into the marked area in one smooth motion, and rotate 1/4 turn to secure.
5. Remove any excess adhesive from the socket for a clean finish.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand until the interface is fully cured for optimal strength.
★ Adhere to these safe practices when using adhesives:
1. Only use adhesives and cleaning agents as needed, restricting access to authorized operators.
2. Ensure the bonding area is free from open flames and well-ventilated to maintain safety.
3. Avoid construction in temperatures below -10ºC, and refrain from using fire to bake adhesive points.
4. Equip personnel with gloves for safety. In case of eye contact with adhesive, rinse thoroughly with water and seek medical attention immediately.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Determine the length of the saw pipe based on precise measurements and fittings' sizes. Utilize fine-tooth saws, cutters, or pipe cutting machines for clean cuts without deformation. For socket adhesion, create 15°-30° grooves using a medium board file, ensuring a length of no less than 3mm and a thickness of 1/3-1/2 of the pipe wall. Clean away debris after completion.
Socket protection:
Post-connection, clean excess adhesive with cotton yarn or a dry cloth dampened with detergent like acetone. Allow the interface to cure properly, considering adhesive performance and climate. Extend curing times during winter to ensure stability.
