Pipe Connection
★ For optimal results, adhere strictly to the following step-by-step procedures for pipe socket connections:
1. Ensure a clean surface by wiping the pipe and pipe fitting sockets thoroughly before applying adhesive.
2. Accurately measure the socket depth and clearly mark the pipe end.
3. Apply adhesive evenly: coat the socket first, then the pipe fitting socket, ensuring a uniform layer.
4. Carefully align and insert into the marked position in one motion, then rotate 1/4 turn to secure.
5. Remove any excess adhesive from the socket to ensure a clean finish.
6. Allow the bonded setup to stand until the interface is fully cured, securing a strong bond.
★ Follow these safety guidelines for the responsible use of adhesives:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents selectively, limiting access to trained operators only.
2. Maintain a flame-free zone at the bonding site and ensure adequate ventilation throughout the process.
3. Avoid construction in temperatures below -10ºC, and refrain from using fire to dry adhesive points.
4. Equip construction personnel with gloves; in case of adhesive contact with eyes, rinse thoroughly with water and seek medical attention immediately.
Installation Instructions
Saw Pipe and Groove:
Determine saw pipe lengths precisely based on measurements and dimensions of connected fittings. Use fine-tooth saws, cutters, or cutting machines for precision. Ensure cuts are flat without deformation. For the glued socket section, file a 15°-30° groove with a medium board file, ensuring a minimum groove length of 3mm and a depth corresponding to 1/3-1/2 of the pipe wall thickness. Clean off any debris post-grooving.
Socket Protection:
After socket connection, cleanse extruded adhesive with cotton or dry cloth dipped lightly in acetone or similar detergents. Allow static curing based on adhesive properties and weather conditions; extend curing time for winter projects.
