Pipe Connection
★ Ensure secure pipe socket connections by meticulously following these procedures:
1. Prior to bonding, thoroughly clean the pipe socket and fitting socket.
2. Determine the socket depth and mark the pipe port accordingly.
3. Apply adhesive methodically, starting with the socket, followed by the pipe, ensuring an even and adequate coating.
4. Align carefully, insert to the mark in one motion, and rotate 1/4 turn for optimal fit.
5. Clean any excess adhesive from the socket to maintain a neat installation.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand until the interface is fully cured for maximum stability.
★ Adhere to these guidelines for the safe use of adhesives:
1. Only use adhesives and cleaning agents as needed, and limit access to authorized personnel.
2. Avoid open flames at the bonding site, ensuring adequate ventilation for safety.
3. Refrain from construction at temperatures below -10ºC, and never use fire to bake adhesive points.
4. Equip personnel with gloves; if adhesive contacts eyes, flush immediately with water and seek medical attention.
Installation Instructions
Saw Pipe and Groove:
Determine the pipe length for each layer based on measurements and connected fittings' sizes. Use fine-tooth saws, cutters, or pipe cutting machines for precision. Ensure the cut is smooth and free of deformation. File a 15°-30° groove, not less than 3mm, with thickness 1/3-1/2 of the wall. Clear debris post-grooving.
Socket Protection:
After socket connection, cleanse excess adhesive with cotton or dry cloth, using mild detergent like acetone. Keep static until curing is complete, adjusting for adhesive performance and climate. Extend curing time in winter conditions.
