Pipe connection
★ Ensure secure pipe socket connections by adhering strictly to the following best practices:
1. Prior to bonding, thoroughly clean the pipe socket and pipe fitting socket.
2. Accurately measure the depth of the socket and mark the pipe port for precision.
3. Apply the adhesive carefully, starting with the socket and then the socket, ensuring an even and appropriate coating throughout.
4. Align precisely, insert the pipe into the marked position in one swift motion, then rotate 1/4 turn for a secure fit.
5. Clean any excess adhesive from the socket to maintain a tidy and professional finish.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand until the interface is fully cured, ensuring a solid and reliable connection.
★ Adhere to the following safety guidelines for the responsible use of adhesives:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents judiciously, keeping them away from non-operating personnel.
2. Ensure there are no open flames at the bonding site, and maintain good ventilation at all times.
3. Avoid construction in temperatures below -10ºC, and refrain from using open flames to dry adhesive points.
4. Equip construction personnel with protective gloves. In case of accidental contact with eyes, rinse thoroughly with water and seek medical attention immediately.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Determine the length of the saw pipe layer by layer based on precise measurements and the dimensions of each connected fitting. Utilize fine-tooth saws, cutters, and pipe cutting machines for precise cutting. Ensure cuts are flat and section integrity is maintained without deformation. Prepare the socket area to be glued by filing to a 15°-30° groove with a medium board file, maintaining a groove length of at least 3mm and a groove thickness of 1/3-1/2 of the pipe wall thickness. Remove all debris post-grooving for a clean finish.
Socket protection:
After socket connection, meticulously clean any extruded adhesive using cotton yarn or a dry cloth lightly moistened with a detergent like acetone. Allow the connection to remain static until fully cured, as per the adhesive properties and ambient conditions. In winter, extend curing times appropriately to ensure optimal results.
